German Premiere of Grigori Frid's “Phaedra”

The Atrium Quartet, founded at the St. Petersburg Music Academy in the year 2000, together with the pianist Oliver Triendl, will perform the German premiere of Grigori Frid’s “Phaedra” for viola, 2 violins, violoncello and piano in Zorneding on 3 November 2013. The concert will take place during the course of the 32nd Chamber Music Cycle of Zorneding.

The Quartet, consisting of Alexei Naumenko, Anton Ilyunin (violins), Dmitry Pitulko (viola) and Anna Gorelova (violoncello), won the 9th London International String Quartet Competition in 2003 as well as the “Grand Prix” at the 5th International String Quartet Competition in Bordeaux in 2007.
