Lera Auerbach at the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival 2013

The organisers of the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival have appointed Lera Auerbach as this year’s “Festival Composer”. Between 23 and 29 September 2013, numerous works from the repertoire of the Russian-American composer will be performed, most of them for the first time in Norway.

The Festival was founded in 1996 as a small, private festival, and grew during the intervening 18 years into one of the largest and most important chamber music festivals in the world. In Norway, it is considered one of the country’s cultural highlights.
