Jan Müller-Wieland’s “Se solen sjunker“ in Russia

The 2010 founded GAMEnsemble Moscow presents the Russian premiere of Jan Müller-Wieland’s Piano Trio No. 3 “Se solen sjunker“ on 21 February 2013. The concert is part of the 1st International Contemporary Music Festival Magister Ludi.

“Se solen sjunker” is the title of an old Swedish folk song and means “see, the sun is setting.” Müller-Wieland’s Piano Trio No. 3 was commissioned by the Piano Festival Ruhr and was premiered in June 2008 in Gelsenkirchen. The work is dedicated to the pianist Siegfried Mauser.
