November 2012 starts out with two premieres of works by Jan Müller-Wieland, who lives in Munich.

His “Lockgesang” for bassoon and string trio will be premiered in Hamburg on 2 November 2012 as part of the series “Kammermusik heute“ (“Chamber Music Today”), performed by members of the Ensemble Acht to which Christian Kunert (current ARD prize winner) also belongs.

Four days later, on 6 November 2012, there follows the world premiere of the String Quartet No. 3 (“second Moon”) in Kassel during the course of Kasseler Musiktage.
