The documentation of the GEMA Bestsellers in the November issue of GEMA News is an exciting highlight each year. Included here are works from the analyses of nationwide supra-regional performances as well as broadcasts, reproductions and ringing tone melodies in Germany. Among the first ten places in 2010, Sergei Prokofiev's children's concert classic "Peter and the Wolf" is the undisputed leader. Other bestsellers are:

1st place: Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev
3rd place: Simple Symphony by Benjamin Britten (Chester/Hansen)
4th place: Adagio for Strings (from the Quartet in B minor, Op. 11) by Samuel Barber (G.
Schirmer)
8th place: Suite No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich
