San José / Costa Rica: World Premiere of Daniel Nazareth's ”Stadium Fanfares“

The composer and conductor Daniel Nazareth, born in Bombay, will celebrate his debut as Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica on 30 March 2011.

During the course of a major "Symphonic Night" on the occasion of the opening of the National Stadium of Costa Rica, Daniel Nazareth will conduct the world premiere of his recently composed "Stadium Fanfares" for choir and orchestra.

The opening festivities will take place between 26 March and 3 April 2011. The building is a gift from the people of China and offers space for 35,000 people. The stadium was completed and presented in just two years.
