Romeo & Juliet: Swiss Premiere of the Adaptation for Brass Ensemble at the Lucerne Festival

On 17 August 2010, the Brass Ensemble of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra will perform the swiss premiere of excerpts from Sergei Prokofiev’s ballet “Romeo and Juliet,” Op. 64, arranged for brass ensemble.

Andreas Tarkmann made the arrangement of this version of William Shakespeare’s perhaps best-known love story. The brass led by Reinhold Friedrich will present this version at the KKl Concert Hall during the course of the Lucerne Festival.
