Arnecke: World Premiere of "Kristallisationen" at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg

Jörn Arnecke's new work "Kristallisationen" for clarinet, bassoon and orchestra will receive its world premiere on 7/8 June 2009 at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg.

Rupert Wachter (clarinet), Christian Kunert (bassoon) and the Philharmoniker Hamburg will interpret the work under Music Director Simone Young.

Simone Young has the following to say about Arnecke's new work:

"I am delighted that Jörn Arnecke has written a concert work for the Philharmonic for the first time, expressly for soloists from the ranks of our Orchestra. (...) I think it is very important for young composers to be granted a continual presence before the public. Jörn Arnecke's artistic home is Hamburg, but he is increasingly attracting international attention."
