Dejan Lazićís arrangements of Richard Strauss Songs for violin and piano at OPUS KLASSIK 2021

The Croatian pianist and composer Dejan Lazić has been awarded an OPUS KLASSIK 2021 for the chamber music recording of his Mozart arrangement of the Rondo concertante for piano, 2 violins, viola and cello (ONYX 4207) released on the Onyx label.

At a chamber concert, as part of Opus Klassik in Berlin on 9 October 2021, the composer will appear with his wife Zen Hu, who also participated in the recording, and perform Franz Liszt’s “Gondoliera” from “Venezia e Napoli” (Années de Pèlerinage, Vol. II: Italie) as well as the two song movements “Allerseelen” (All Souls) op. 10 / No. 8 and “Cäcilie” op. 27 / No. 2 by Richard Strauss in his arrangement for violin and piano.
