Valery Gergiev conducts Sofia Gubaidulina's “On Love and Hatred” at the 2nd International Zaryadye Festival 2020 Moscow

Maestro Valery Gergiev has included Sofia Gubaidulina's oratorio “On Love and Hatred” in the program of the 2nd International Zaryadye Festival, which will take place under his direction in the Moscow concert hall “Zaryadye”, which opened in 2018.

The performance with soloists, choir and orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater St. Petersburg will take place on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Due to the corona, only a maximum of 400 listeners are allowed to attend this concert. This oratorio, which was premiered in September 2018 under Gergiev in Rotterdam, will be heard for the second time in Russia, after it had its Russian premiere on November 17, 2018 in St. Petersburg.
