Two Grammy's 2019 for the recording of symphonies by Dmitri Shostakovich

For the release of Symphonies No. 4 and No. 11 by Dmitri Shostakovich with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the direction of music director Andris Nelsons, the label Deutsche Grammophon won a grammy for the Best Orchestral Performance and a grammy in the category Best Engineered Album, Classical.
The double CD with these two symphonies is part of the Shostakovich series "Under Stalin's Shadow". Already three years ago Nelsons and the Boston Symphony Orchestra had received the award for the first album of the series. In 2017, a Grammy for the recording of Symphonies No. 5, 8 and 9 followed.
On February 22, the next release of the series with the Shostakovich Symphonies No. 6 and 7 will be published by Deutsche Grammophon.
