Sikorski to exhibit at the didacta education trade fair in Cologne

The Sikorski music publishing company is once again an exhibitor at Germany’s biggest trade fair for the educational sector, the didacta show in Cologne. From 19 to 23 February 2019 (daily from 9am to 6pm), we invite you to visit our stand schü Zuckowski in Hall 8.1 booth B 33 at Kölnmesse.

Our booth will be focussed on schools, play groups and kindergartens. One of the main themes at the booth will be a new musical, “Louis Braille and the Number 6” by Carina Peitz, Matthias Nikola and Isabell Spindler. It tells the story of Louis, a schoolboy blinded in an accident, who, spurned on by his desire to carry on reading without assistance, developed the Braille reading system for blind people that uses 6 tactile points and is in common use to this day.

A teacher’s book (SIK 1615) and a students’ workbook (SIK 1616) are in preparation to accompany “Louis Braille and the Number 6”. A license to perform the musical can be obtained by visiting www.schü

Our booth will present a wealth of information, display copies and audio examples from many of the works in our extensive catalogue that encompasses over 100 school musicals accessible through our www.schü platform. We offer works across all age ranges, from pre-school and primary schools through to material aimed at high school pupils. We have the right piece for your school performance with any age group.

Our booth will also feature the latest CDs and scores presenting the work of Rolf Zuckowski as well as the chance to listen to any CD distributed by Sikorski, including the latest works “Born to Life” and “Tooth Gap Blues”.

We look forward to welcoming you!
