The Ensemble Intercontemporain will be conducted at the premiere of this multimedia work by Matthias Pintscher.
"From Within" is an equally original and ambitious creation with a large instrumental ensemble, installations of LED lights and computer music, the leading ensemble for contemporary music in France comments on the new work. It is about the sense of existence in a world in profound transformation, but also about the relationship between spirituality and science, which questions the notion of beauty.
This work is the first collaboration between Marko Nikodijevic and Robert Henke. Born in Serbia in 1980, Marko Nikodijevic represents a new generation of avant-garde composers with diverse influences and expressions that go beyond the boundaries of new music, among others. also seeks points of contact to techno-culture. Robert Henke, on the other hand, is an internationally known figure in electro music. The German musician and visual artist describes his work as "an exploration of sound, rhythm and structure" as well as "an interaction between a sound event and the space in which a work is performed."
