ALLA KONTRAPUNKT: Festival with Music by Giya Kancheli and Dmitri Shostakovich

A Shostakovich-Kancheli Festival entitled “Alla Kontrapunkt” will take place in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi from 9 to 15 May 2017. The festival will be held in the presence of Giya Kancheli, who celebrated his 80th birthday in August 2016, and Irina Shostakovich, the widow of Dmitri Shostakovich.
