Nikodijevic’s “tiefenrausch” Continues to Tour Europe’s concert halls

The Armida Quartet is continuing its tour with “tiefenrausch” by Marko Nikodijevic through Europe’s concert halls in 2017. The work was commissioned for the series “Rising Stars” of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO).

After the celebrated world premiere at the Barbican Centre in London on 19 October 2016 and local premieres in Hungary (Budapest) and Germany (Berlin), the Armida Quartet is also presenting the “Quartetto d’archi n° 1” in France and Austria.

On 15 January 2017 the piece will be given its French premiere at the Cité de la musique (Amphitéâtre) in Paris and on 30 January 2017 the Armida Quartet (with Martin Funda and Johanna Staemmler, violins, Teresa Schwamm, viola and Peter Philipp Staemmler, cello) will present the Austrian premiere of “tiefenrausch” in Vienna.
