Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” Is First Place on the 2014 GEMA Charts 2014

Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” has finally risen to the position of first place on the GEMA charts. This musical fairytale composed in 1936 achieved first place in the category of Live (Serious Music) on the Top Ten List of 2014 in the categories of Live (Light and Serious Music), Downloads, Radio, Discotheques and Recordings.

The Jazz Suite No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich finished in 10th place. The GEMA charts are always evaluated with a delay of one year, due to the periods of invoicing and payment of royalties. The 2015 GEMA Charts, accordingly, can be expected at the beginning of the coming year 2017.
