"Der Titel ‚Evapora' stammt aus dem Lateinischen und ist mit dem deutschen Wort 'Verdunstung' (Evaporation) verwandt. Ich habe diese bildliche Vorstellung ins akustische übertragen: Klang - Nachhall - Nichts, ähnlich wie Wolken - leicht neblig - unsichtbar.
Diese Komposition besteht aus drei Sätzen mit unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften. Im ganzen Stück wurde das Tonmaterial sparsam verwendet."

"The title 'Evapora' comes from Latin and is of course the source of the word 'evaporate.' I have transferred this visual concept into an acoustical one: sound - echo - nothing, similar to clouds - slightly foggy - invisible.
This composition is cast in three movements with differing characteristics. The sound material is used sparingly throughout the entire piece."
