Sulchan Zinzadse: “Sachidao”
The Georgian composer Sulkhan Tsintsadze became especially well-known after the Second World War for his adaptations of traditional songs and dances of his homeland.
These also include the fiery war dance "Sachidao," which the bayan virtuoso Elsbeth Moser has now adapted for violoncello and bayan. The dark timbres of both instruments lend this piece a very special character.
