ECHO Klassik 2017 for Recordings of Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Gubaidulina

The prize winners of the ECHO KLASSIK 2017 were announced on 27 July 2017. This year the coveted German prize was again awarded to numerous recordings of works from the catalogues of the Sikorski Music Publishers.

In addition, the cultural project “TONALi”, organised in cooperation with Sikorski Music Publishers, won the prize for the best encouragement and promotion of the upcoming generation.

The awards ceremony of the ECHO KLASSIK will be held on 29 October 2017 at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (moderator: Thomas Gottschalk). ZDF will broadcast a recording of the event on the same evening at 10 PM.
